Default After 25 Years, I Dumped Allstate
The bastards keep raising my car insurance rates, so f'k 'em...

For the same coverage :

Allstate : $2105/yr ( the raised again, renewal price )

Geico : $1418/yr.

State Farm, and Farmers, weren't close, either.

Geico, it is.

I dumped USAA a year ago and worried that I was goign to get service to go along with the lower price. AFter the crap service we got with Karens car on her USAA policy, I'm VERY glad I now have farmers.

INsurance here in Florida is one effed up mess, one of the disadvantages living here, but I can understand the hurry cain problems, but so charge them assholes on the shore looking for it, the increased money....

NOT some schlup like me here on a hillside about impossible to flood in a cinder block house in good shape.....

but having done with that, ANY of you in the North East region needs take a good look at Erie Insurance sometimes called Erie Ins. Exchange they carried all my insurances for over 20 years....hated to lose them....

I carried 3 vehicles my work truck and two hotrods, vette and GTO convertible....for dig this 650/bux year 100/300k and comp/collision....seriously cheeeeeeeeeeeep like a little bird....

200k on the house (WAY before the housing run up....) and it was maybe 350/year or so...totally affordable....with 500k on the liability...

shit, here in Florida a silly state min of 10/20 on cars is crazy at 650/year...
150k on building/house here is a whopping 600/year

AND every damn year I get hit yet again and have to go through all that bullshit bidding/shopping carriers, and beating them upside the head.....like to find the head offices and walk in with a shotgun on the head guys, not after some sales dweeb agent don't get points for pawns, only kings....

I dumped them two years ago after being with them for 20+. Went with Liberty Mutual. They beat everyone and the coverage is even better.

Didn't you get a "package" discount for having car,home, and everything else insured through them?

I get numerous discounts on cars, home, and motorcycle policies (Bundle package). Each policy has a min. 10% discount, So, if I drop one, the others will go up 10 to 20%.
