Yes, but since Obama in actuality DID bring peace, and not start a bunch of new wars/attacks/bombings, they were right to give him their peace prize. Hell, even his illegal spying of Team Trump was peaceful. Dude was all about peace.

Well, to be candid, I am not wound up, but I do find all of it amusing.

I doubt it is her politics that has many people seeing this negatively. Who cares what a 16 year old from Sweden thinks anyways. It is much more likely how the media have glommed onto her as the rising star of the environmental movement.

A few good questions to ask:
Why a 16 year old to lecture us?
Is it her over the top sanctimonious attitude?
Or perhaps that while she is 16, she could pass as 12?
How much did any of us really know when we were 16?
How much did we think we knew?

I doubt very many people outside the whacko environmentalists and MSM take her seriously. Most of us are laughing at both her and Time magazine. And that's not a very nice thing for her parents and others to put her through.

what has Sweden done lately? they pass out little prizes every year (Obama got one), but you have to meet the King if you want to get your prize. pass. Nokia is long forgotten. And it's cold and dark much of the year there.

but they have managed to create a little snot nosed, bossy, petulant, demanding, privileged, little girl who thinks she knows how the rest of us should live every day. we shouldn't worry about money, or overbearing governments, we should just do as she wishes, hand over all our money, and go live in caves and eat vegan.
