I miss my old stove. However, we do have a big-ass griddle outside. When we get decent weather, we'll be making breakfast outside, and pissing off the neighbors in the process.

One of the things I miss about camping is the constant smell of breakfast from 6AM to noon.

We renovated our kitchen back in 2005. I picked out the cooktop and the rest of the kitchen was designed around it. The center is a grill.
Wife bought these from a local wood artisan. They were a bit “spendy” But we love them. |

Those peppermills...look really familiar. Like one I had made after I saw it on an old Food Network show.
Very nice range. I'm gonna do a remodel and I was looking at a Wolf range with a flat top like that, but I'm limited on space and I'd rather have more burners. I bought a few All Clad griddle pans that I can set on top of the burners. Teflon coated and when you're done, they drop in the sink for easy clean-up. |

Only once have I ever wished for more than 4 burners. But then, I had the grill and all 4 burners going at the same time. My vent hood almost couldn’t keep up with the heat load. This kitchen killed my game room as it has become the place to be.
Biggest regret is putting the fridge behind the cooking unit. Everyone needs to get in the fridge at all the wrong times. |
