Depressing as HELL.....
I moved here 20 years ago....met up with guys here on this burb street and so joined the party circuit......many many many parties up/down the street over the years.....but all the folks are my age or so.....
So the guy on the corner house died.....about a month ago....the guy next to him is in/out of the hospital and had a pot growing shed in his back yard....arrested and out on bond, ex Navy....I suspect it was his KID that did it.....then the couple next to him are separated/having affairs......then the next guy down hill is age 82 and been in the hospital with heart issues and many surgeries....his niece takes car of him....he mostly home now.....but the next guy downhill from him my neighbor Chuck, and I went to see Bob in the hospital......NOT looking good at ALL once again many heart surgeries ......Bob's wife is all outta sorts they age 76 or so..... She has her own health issues and can barely get around herself....let alone take care of anyone..... the next house downhill from them has the guy with BAD health, and a wife barely able to drive......next house down is SHE still works to support HIM at home on total disability.... SO Junior/wife and Me and wife/Chuck and wife/renters we dunno, and then Dean and wife on MY side of the street are all FINE so far.....  Junior and Me/wives are not .mil background....so not getting anything but SS and then no part B and D .....all the others are on .mil medical care except BOB who is near death in the Heart ward in the worst layed out/constructed medical complex I have ever seen.....it's a mess..... Chuck and I walked about a mile of corridors/elevators today from the parking garage to Bob's room and back.....Don't ANYONE know how to build ANYTHING anymore???
