Intake and TB upgrades
Wondering what kind of performance gains can be had going from a LS6 intake w/ 78mm TB to a FAST 92 intake and a larger TB. This would be on a stock LS1 bottom end with ported 243 heads, 232/234 .595/.598 cam, headers, etc putting 410hp to the wheels.
I am thinking the cost to gain ratio just wouldn't make sense. What are your thoughts?

I was pretty disappointed when I purchased the FAST 102 and LS2 throttle body only gained like 14 RWHP and 12 RWTQ on my cammed Z.
I am very happy now after the TFS 220's as i am sure the stock intake would of held me back. Cost wise I should of done the heads first, yeah they cost a $1000 more but i got 50 RWHP. Mario |

I don't think you're going to see a big enough gain to justify the cost Munch. Unless you get a great deal, I would just leave well enough alone for now. JMO man.

Get in touch with Ed at VA Speed. He took my 107mm TB and stuck it on a NA motor and gained like 30rwhp. I am not sure of the motor specs but 30 more horses at the wheel is a pretty good gain.
