I have seen all these chrome parts when they were on the car and very nice!
Tom, any plans after you have the stock parts back on? I have a hood sitting in my basement. |

Not sure yet.
All I know is I don't show the car any more, heck, I rarely drive the car any more...so why have all that? Quote:
If the new one is on the car, post up some pics...I'd like to see it. |

Verne, if you don't know of a good paint shop...the place I use is in Oconomowoc. They've always done a great job for me, reasonable prices. and they know how to paint Mil Yellow.
Bit of a drive for you, but worth it IMO. No matter where you get it painted, I would highly recommend leaving the car at the shop to insure the best match. As far as transporting the hood, you do know a guy with a pickup truck, and I know for sure a C5 hood easily fits in it. (I drove to Omaha, NB to pick mine up). |

I don't have an idler pulley cover.
I had the actual tensioner chrome plated. It's visible in this pic: If interested in that, let me know...But I am out of town until Sat or Sunday and won't be able to remove it from the car to take pics until I return home. |

Ultra-rare chrome plated manifold cover (the Kewl version that looks like the manifold)
I was wondering how much are you going to ask for this? I want to do something with mine at some point. Your setup looks very nice. |

It was $550 new, and there were only a handful of them ever made. This is THE nicest chrome piece I have on my car. You may see some newer vendors selling a similar item for a lot less, but please realize their sprayed on "chrome-like" finish is not real chrome, this one is, and real chrome is not cheap. It is a 2pc triple-plated plastic cover with the seam hidden under the fuel rail crossover tube. It installs easily, only requiring removing the plastic rail covers, you do not have to pull the fuel rail or injectors (unlike the 1pc style). A couple more pics, with and without the rail covers... If you're still thinking about it, I'd also highly suggest the chromed fuel rail to complete the look...the stock black crossover tube over this looks like crap. I'd toss the rail in for an additional $100, which is also about half of what I paid for it. PM me if interested, Thanks, Tom |

BTW, I just noticed you have a 97, so the single line style fuel rail I have won't work on your car anyways...You need the return style rail with the two hose connections. |
