There is speculation of multiple people involved. Video of him being the sole person going in and out of the room would dispel that.

Do you think the floor of that hotel will be turned into a museum similar to the Texas School Book Depository building in Dallas?

Also, if the video is damaged, unviewable, or not available for any reason, the speculation will only grow. Sure investigations take time but eventually the video or enough video to dispel speculation can be available.

Just about everyone knows Vegas casinos are known for having boat loads of cameras.

I think he figured he would have time to get out of the room and get away. But he used his own name to register and they knew what car he was driving too. Lot's of conflicting facts and conjectures to figure out here.

As far as another shooter in that specific hotel...

those windows don't open. So there would need be more window glass broken - other than of the room of the main nutjob.

I visited the School Book Depository when I was in Dallas a few years ago.

I hate museums that are full of items that were made after I was born.

So, he was going to commit mass murder and then just exit the casino? I can think of only three situations. Those are being very dumb, psychotic, or he wasn't there to commit mass murder. Am I missing another reason?

He had a bunch of tannerite and ammonium nitrate in his car. He had plans for that and never got a chance to use it. I think he did plan on getting out of the hotel and to his car to do something, and since he took a bunch of shots at the huge tanks of aviation fuel at the nearby airport (luckily not puncturing them) it could have been that he planned on driving his car next to them somehow and blowing up his homemade bomb, setting off a few million gallons of jet fuel.

Who knows? We will probably never know what was going on in his head.

Sometimes I think crazy even evil stuff goes through many of our heads. What separates us form those that are really nuts is that we have the common sense to talk ourselves out of it because we know it's wrong.

I'm not a psychiatrist and I didn't even sleep at a Holiday Inn last night.

I know. It boggles the mind when you consider there are those with sinister agendas (both foreign and domestic) who purposely conceive and carry out tragic events like this.

I can think of evil crap that makes this guy look like he was playing with Legos, but you are correct. Imagining, and doing are approximately 14 bazillion miles apart.

There is a story about a veteran staying at the mandaly bay who called 911 to help locate the shooter. He was directly underneath the shooters location and needs to be recognized for pin pointing that position for police and bringing the situation to an end and saving others lives.

Looks like the time line for this guys calls and the 9 minutes of active shooting and 1 hour (?) time to breaching the door of the room lessen the impact of his call.

Two broken windows, two shooters? This should be easily proven or disproven with the security tapes from the hallway.

I haven't heard anything about any fir alarm evacuation. It was a smoke detector in the room, not a full building fire alarm

That is what a mean. Why only one room? My electronic detectors are tied together. If one goes off so does the others.

It would seem pointless to wait and check out if there was a fire 5 minutes later after one room alarm is noted and then evacuate the area, floor, entire hotel.
