Will be 3000 this week. Unfortunately, couldn't get around the $10k over now that the store was sold to a huge corporation, but I got 100% of what I wanted.

I hope you are not delayed with the Z07, as pretty sure it has been on restraints for longer periods vs. available since production began.

I am still on ciocca's reservation list, started around 700, even though I had my money in on day one.
I bet I am still two years away, at 482 on list, I will wait it out, but may opt out, as I 'think' there will be msrp discounts by then, and probably a good deal on a used one.

The M7 transmission sucked IMO. One too many gears. The should have kept the ZF trans from the C4....Corvette transmissions took a nosedive starting with the C5

The C6 is more comfortable to boot. However, the C7 interior was way better.

I have owned to flat black, a V1 and V2, and never again, so I am considering red or the nardo gray color.

Does the front-lift add weight, does it also impede lowering, and does it affect alignment??

Was the Z)& required to get the CCBs, as I think I was told that, and both run $20+K.

I think you made the right decision vs. the Pcar, as they will all REMAIN in your rearview mirror.

I think you made the right decision vs. the Pcar, as they will all REMAIN in your rearview mirror.

Front lift prevents lowering, doesn't impact alignment, and doesn't add "too much weight" 13 lbs. I appreciate the lift on my '21, and with as fricking expensive the ground effects are on the Z06, it's more mandatory in my opinion now. Z07 comes with the CCB's and Mag ride, and was only $9k. It gets expensive when you try and mix and match.

I know of NO ONE who sold their C7 to get a C6 or lesser gen.
I know of MANY who sold their C6 or lesser gen to UPGRADE to a C7.

I still own a C6, 100K miles, great car, has served me well, will never sell.
My C7 is far superior, in every way, I have requested to be buried in it.

No kidding the price. My '05 was $52k, my '08 Z was $76k, my '21 was $85k, so the '24 is basically DOUBLE my '21. Also, I can't believe that was nearly 20 years ago.

And years of additional waiting. For a car I'm keeping forever, I can overlook the 10k. Besides, want to get it paid off as quickly as possible so I can look into the C9's. I'm sure I've got enough professional working runway left to afford a 4th forever high-end Vette.
