Where you stayin'? Maybe a bunch of us can get together at one hotel. What days are you gonna be there? I'm planning on being there Thursday thru Sunday.

Vet4JDC and I are going up Friday morning, hitting Adam's party Friday night, and probably staying at the Days Inn in Gettysburg.
We'll leave early Sunday morning for Hampton Roads. There are usually a bunch of Hampton Roads Corvettes that stay in Gettysburg and take the ride through the apple orchards to Carlisle and back each day. I have to wait until all the vendor spot renewals are in (July) before I can see if we can get a Vette Barn spot right over the fence in the main show field area. I have the request in and since I'm renewing the Beachcomber spot we get first chance in that area before they open it up to new vendors.

I'm going, but haven't made hotel reservations yet. Tony are there any spots left at that hotel? It'd be nice to cruise up and back with local folks.
EDIT: Just checked the map/directions to the Days Inn etc. etc. That sounds perfect. Go up early Friday and head home early Sunday. I'm in for that. I'm going to try and make a reservation tomorrow.... is there any discounts or anything? Normally they rape you during Carlisle show time... any tricks/tips?

I don't know if Beachcombers have set up rooms yet but tell them you are with the VA Beach Corvette club. Its a nice place for a Days Inn and they treat Vette folks well.
Only issue is that there is a huge soccer tournament for kids in G-Burg the same weekend as Carlisle each year so there will be tons of soccer kids and parents at all the hotels. We usually head downtown for a few libations to get away from them.

Have you guys registered for Carlisle yet? Will there be a beachcombers or Vettebarn specific parking area? If so, which event stuff do I need to register for?

I registered a few weeks ago. Just register for the Fun Display and get there early. Back in against the fence that separates the fun display from the vendor area between gates 2 and 3.
That fence backs up to the row Beachcombers has a vendor spot/tent and where I'm trying to get a Barn Space for a pop up. I'll post exact locations when/if we get a Vette Barn spot.
