'06 vert. My lease on my SUV is up in May and I'll be ok to drive the vette through the warm months, but come November I'll have to look at getting into something else. Right now I pay a huge chunk of change each month for both car payments. I'm done spending this kind of $$.

well, the DD has water leaking in somewhere, cant find it. its leaking so badly that i think the entire rear side panel is filling with water. so i was going to try tackling it again this weekend. well, son and i had to run to walgreens earlier (thats another disaster in and of itself) and omg... the van smelled like a washing machine full of week old forgotten wet towels. couldnt hardly breathe . shiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit

i about died.
we came home, googled lice (yep, thats it), then ran back out to walgreens
ive spent the lsat 3 hours shampooing, gelling, cutting, combing, scrubbing, vacuuming, stripping beds, couches, clothes, spraying, cleaning... omg. this evening has been a bit more than i can deal with right now

Hi Kim I remember going through Lice with my sons when they were younger. What a pain in the ass. Especially when you don't have a washing machine/dryer. And combing all those nits out is a true test of patience.

Why not try to save for a winter beater something cheap...and maybe keep the vette. Just a suggestion

I bought a new 98, drove it 117k miles all over the place. But our new house needs some renovation work over the next few years. And a truck is much more useful going forward. Will get another in a few years when things are sorted out.

It's just a car. But it's a fun car. Life brings changes.

I have both of mine...might put one on the road this spring, but life sometimes has other ideas for us first!
