Hate the color and the wood cladding but like the rest. Build sheet is included.

Pretty loaded Wagon for the day. Never heard of an M20 transmission. I wonder if it is a long version of the M22/M21.
I have only seen one 427 4 Speed wagons in my life. It was a 67, and the man bought it to pull his 67 427 Corvette race car. |

Always thought the '67 was one of the nicest looking Impala's and I believe it was the only year with the round gauges. Those look good as convertibles too!

I would never own a stationwagon.
It will always be a 2 ton sled. |

We had a 427 wagon at Lebanon Valley speedway (NY) back in the late 60s. It was a auto the driver only had the use of one hand. It was well set up and took its class often.

Fun cars... but absolutely terrible as a "wagon". The roof line was awful in the rear. I couldn't fit the car seats for the kids in them for shit so away they went. |

Leaning very much towards another wagon for the next car...
Unlike the Caddy, the Audi actually has a usable rear seat. |

Well yea, when you have kids and it's your daily driver... the kids actually being able to fit in it might be a concern.
There are car seats in my S6. They were in my Firehawk... which pathetically enough had more room than the V-wagons. If I get the RS6, they will be in that as well. Does that put my "car guy" status in jeopardy? Maybe I should just throw in the towel and start driving a minivan instead. ... especially since there's absolutely no difference unless you are on a race track or greatly exceeding the speed limit. |

.....and accounts for about 95% of all Muncie 4 speeds. The most common one. There was a long tailshaft application of all the Muncie 4 speeds, used in the full size cars. Neat wagon. Saw a similar older Pontiac version of this at a N. Cal show about 15 years ago. '64 Bonneville, 4 speed, tripower, 421 HO engine, posi, power everything. No wood sides, metallic turquoise. Guy wanted 38k for it at the time. About a 100k car now.

That's why god invented good warranties.
The main things that go wrong on the Audis are the annoying electrical gremlins which also applies to damn near every other car, especially anything with any level of features or performance made these days. |

I rarely drive out of warranty on modern autos but might for one of those caddies. I still have a moderate amount of cash flow. How bad could it be?
