Speaking of knowledge and writing, after reading a few posts of his, I'll tell you whose knowledge base impresses me and it's not yours Doug. I've shared my perspective on this before but it is worth repeating. In your case, I think you are at least willing to at least briefly consider the opposition. I also don't think outside of politics we'd have any issue. I don't dislike you as a person. I don't know you, or rather don't know enough about you. Others here make enough of their persona known, that I am willing to dismiss them entirely.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with being grossly overpaid for doing easy work. That is the reward for working hard in our younger years, as far as I am concerned. People who have paid their dues, worked their way up the ladder, and now are enjoying the fruits of their labors. It is really the way things ought to be.

Doug deluding himself into thinking that he is changing the world writing tripe about a 20 year old car for a few tarnished coins is just plain sad and rather depressing. But, frankly, if I were in his situation, I doubt if I could look at it objectively either without crying or getting drunk. Let's face it, if he weren't mooching off his girlfriend, he would be living in that 20 year old car and scavenging the dumpster behind the Pizza Hut for crusts.
