Almost a perfect day: walked the Corvette show with thing 2 then we shot at the gun range. Now eating at range before trying to drive back home in the Vette in chitty storms.

It is way too warm for anything but evening car shows for the next few months.
I did the usual bicycle ride today that has pretty much zapped all my energy. It was not as enjoyable since opening the patio door is like opening an oven door. I got a late start, so it was close to 90 degrees and muggy the entire ride.

FL humidity is unreal. People that live there will say "you get used to it", but I can't say I agree.

It can be in the high 90's here, but with low humidity, bearable (in the shade)

Mom said they picked a great time to come stay in OK, tornado warnings almost daily.

Yeah we don't get used to it but rather adapt to it. Most outdoor fun stuff is at night. It is still over 80 degrees, but at least the sun isn't cooking us.

Your mom reminds me of my parents. The first year they bought a summer house up north to escape the Florida summers they had a record of like 13 days in a row over 100 degrees.
