Nice. Been looking at going the rack and pinion route on my Mach 1 down the road.

The Speed TV channels Chop Cut Rebuild are building a Duster with a new crossmember/Hemi engine in it. Gearz is building a Cougar with a Ford Jon Kasse 520 cid Boss. Ive been watching these shows for about a decade and no C4 ever. These damn Vettes are like the ugly son and fat daughter, only their parents would love them unconditionally. |

I missed that one.
He did an old Z28 with a LSx engine in it. I saw it at the PINKS TV Show recording in Famoso and the car did not impress me. For a TV car it should had look great or at least a 9 and it was a 6. TV and studio lights would make anything beautiful. So, whats the deal with that one? Id like for Horsepower TV to grab a LT1 Vette and do what they do best. |

I saw it when it was still in one piece. Shiny looking, but I seem to recall that it had a made-for-tv or 15 ft away look to it. The car was still yellow when you opened the doors or looked in the right places. maybe it had chipped paint- i don't know cant recall exactly. Whoever had it after the show rode it hard and put it away wet. I would have preferred oem wheels. whatever it had looked heavy.
I guess he couldn't sell it whole. Shawn has a couple of decent cars- I don't think he dismantles all of them. |
