BTW, he said at one point after the un-ban, I needed to "prove" I could adhere to forum rules. I said, how the **** can I do that if I can't post? He gave me a snotty answer, basically telling me I'm dense for not understanding. At the time I thought to myself, he was the dense one since I could not prove his challenge. Anyways, I thought if I could maintain a more neutral demeanor while posting , that would prove it, but he had to be a dick about it anyways.

**** it, having the inability to post for months has been a blessing of sorts as I really don't need to post to a forum that has mods giving me an anal exam every time I do and I'm not going to kiss his ass for something as meaningless as a forum vs. the big picture of life.

In a nut shell, Activity. No offense to you all, but you work at a slower pace than most vibrant forums do. But it makes y’all happy and fills your needs.

Some of these boomers like to get on and chat with people all day long argue all day etc. etc., this forum does not fill that need (nor does it try)

CF is censored. It’s only a matter of time before most of those folks find their way here or elsewhere. It’s not “a slower pace” but simply a lack of known options, IMO.

They have known about this place for years. It's picking up very, very, slowly, but not at the pace that would make this place quite as active. You'd think with less moderation, this place would be booming

I was on CF for over a decade and had no idea this site existed. During a purge there, another member provided a link and voila.

I was initially confused because I recognized a lot of the screen names but not the community as a whole? Had I slipped into a parallel universe or worse? To be honest, I still don’t understand entirely but it appears a smaller community of corvette enthusiasts outgrew one another and branched off with one selling his site to the Commies?

Today we have members struggling to win an impossible game with zero rewards, even if they managed to do so. **** CF. There is no value in participating in a forum that is being censored like an elementary school.

Time to let that place go and build something new.
