Default Rejex Removal

Last year I clayed the Vette, then put a nice coat of Rejex on it and it looked pretty swell all summer. This year I am going on an Adams kick and going to use all their products. My question is this, will washing with Dawn take the year old Rejex off or will maybe claying the car take it off? I also plan to go over it with my new PC as I have some very light swirls so maybe that will take it off.

Any thoughts?

Use the pc and the Adams fine machine polish, that will take the Rejex off.

Meguiar's M0216 Mirror Glaze Fine-Cut Cleaner - 16 oz Bottle works great when used with a 7424 PC. Costs less, too. And, it will not have any effect to your overall finish.

Dawn won't cut rejex. IPA will. Though I've never had rejex last more than 2 months, so I would -guess- that you really don't need to remove anything.

I put IPA in a spray bottle and mist a clean (and clayed) car lightly. Then just wipe gently with the soft towel of your choice.

I also do this between cutting steps (with an abrasive polish) to make sure the polish hasn't left anything behind to hide swirls/scratches that still need to be fixed.
