Default Cleaning leather and carpet with your PC 7424?!?

That's right! I just picked up the carpet scrubber last week, and LOVE it.

Where to get them: http://www.topoftheline.com/porcabcarbru.html

Obligatory pic:

GOt any pics of a finished carpet? Wondering how soft the bristles are, and if it tears fibers and makes them look nappy.

That's nice and all but aren't you supposed to send your Lloyds mats out to be drycleaned in the off chance that they get dirty? The carpet should never get dirty!

If you turn the speed down to 3, it shouldn't change the nap.
I've mainly been using it on other people's cars, as I've been doing some detail work on the side. I have found four different styles, ranging from soft to hard. Soft is good on leather, medium for carpets and upholstery, and the harder bristles are good for getting shoe marks off plastic interior.

I'll do my Vatte mats and take pics. :camera:

My Lloyds look like crap. Contrary to popular belief, that's what floormats are for.

I've seen a shop clean floor mats with a power washer, wash 'em down and hang in the sun to dry!

That will destroy the nap on a quality mat like Lloyds. So with those brushes over time. The best thing to use to clean mats is a soapless cleaner, a towel or sponge and some elbow grease. It sucks but it's safe.

For crappy, daily driver mats, I'd use anything.
