Default Trump may have managed to blow up both major parties.

Think about it. We've had a stagnant two-party system for 150+ years, maybe longer. The corruption runs really deep. Trump has blown up the Republican party. Whatever comes from those ashes isn't going to be GOPe-friendly. And now you're seeing the utter decimation of the Democrat party. Believe me, there is so much more evidence that will come out once President Trump appoints a special prosecutor.

I'm not engaging in hyperbole here, this is real.

Exactly what he said he's do and what the American people want at this point.

Nice!

Yup. She did that one to herself.

Yeah, OK. I'm sure everything would have played out like this had Jeb! been the candidate.

You sure don't seem very high energy today. That's sad.

One thing's for sure, this election has shown everyone what a sad state the US political system is in when those 2 are the choices it comes down to.

I think Trump has some great ideas, like electing a non politician. someone outside the system. I think that's how Jesse Ventura & Arnold got elected. Unfortunately Trump is Trump. I can't get past how much like a spoiled child he acts like.

Hillary is a known crook, can't deny it. Also pretty sure she's in the early stages of Parkinson's. But I have no doubt she'll win because Trump is Trump.

The whole thing reminds me of the election for Louisiana governor in 1991. You had KKK member David Duke going against a known crook, Edwin Edwards. And of course the crook beat the racist. Two crappy choices with people picking the lesser of 2 evils.

Most people aren't voting FOR their choice, they're voting AGAINST the other choice.

Well, he's probably pretty mellowed out because he's been in his hot tub.

I think the country was so tired of Carter they'd have elected Charlie Manson. Carter is a great humanitarian, but was a lousy President.

Reagan is still my favorite President in my lifetime. After Carter, Reagan brought American pride back.

Reagan was focused and never engaged in trashing out his opponent. His version of America was born of Apple pie, Chevys, and Maryberry. Trumps version of America is Cheesecake, Hellcats and NYC. Totally different.

It might be a stretch to give Trump all the credit since Hilliary created the opportunity but I wonder if the other candidates would have been as dogged as Trump. If the MSM had their way, email server stories would appear on page 67 right between the centenarian birthdays and dogs for adoption. That's tough to do with Trump hanging onto the issue like a bulldog on a steak.

It won't show here unless I sign up for Hulu, but I saw it when it was first broadcast and it's very funny.

I was, of course, referring to Cyber's thread about his hot tub woes.

Reagan was more polished and polite, but he did a little trashing also.

I really wouldn't consider that trashing. He used something Carter came up with previously right back against him. And he kept it really clean & civil. Sounded downright Presidential.

The current debates sound like elementary school playground arguments. I keep waiting to hear "I know you are but what am I?"

^^. This... but let's take it a little further.

Rubio couldn't get a good jab in unless a teleprompter was in front of him.

Cruz was just flat annoying. Nasal voice, no sense of humor, constantly lecturing. He sounded like a Dean of Students I once worked with.

Trump's been more like Jack the Ripper... with a sense of humor. And survived a never-ending smear campaign not only by Hillary's people, but also the Press.

One thing for sure- two things are on the casualty list, no matter who wins.

1. Credibility in our government Institutions.
2. Credibility of the Press.

Interesting times.

I think of Trump like I would imagine Rodney Dangerfield in Caddy Shack if he ran for president.

" Who would wear such a ridiculous pants suit? Oh whoa, it looks good on you"

One more time, and then I'm done. The reason you've read this election wrong the entire time, without fail, is because you totally don't get why Trump is going to win. Even without this FBI thing, he was going to win. People like me, the normal everyday American, don't give a shit about 90% of the supposed "Republican" or "Democrat" wonkish policies - which always seem to result in more government power and less freedom for us. What we want is a President who will fight back against the idiots in the media, bureaucracy, and abroad. That will stand up for us. That won't sell us all out. That's it. Period. Trump can't be bought. I don't know why this is hard to understand.
