I'll be the first to tell you that politics are probably one of the most confusing things to me. I don't understand the terms, the practices, etc..

Well I have a coworker that labels alot of things as socialist. Everybody will be having a conversation and he will start making socialist comments, labeling this and that or whatever subject we are talkiing about as a socialist practice.. I think it's kind of funny that he labels alot of things as socialist, but at the same time I wonder what her really means.

Anybody care to elaborate on this one..

I dunno if tuning in now will help or not, but maybe go to Glen Beck .com or Fox news.com and then to Glen Beck segment, and get some DVDs of the past two years of programs......I tuned in late, well after the elementary stuff was broadcast, and he distills down all the smokescreen into plain english....explains why this is all deliberately confusing.....

explains what the words in the Declaration and Constitution actually mean, like the way I learned it in grade school, not the crap taught since the 70's.....

but like he openly says, you gotta do your own homework, do your own reading, maybe some political philosophy John Locke is a good place to start, then read some of Jefferson, Washington, Adams, etc....

then compare that to Marx, Lenin, Engles, and lastly hitler (a fellow who's name I refuse to capitalize) shouldn't on the other 3 either.....

read some history on Stalin, not the hero worship you maybe find, but about what a all powerful .gov run a muck does to the governed, the mass killings that he pulled off for taking over the farms.....the crap Mao pulled off in China...mass starvation.....

THAT's what socialism/communism means for the folks on the streets.....

you will get some liberal/socialist fools here that will try to say I"m rong, and pull out all sorts of political theory from some commie professor in some college somewhere/everywhere....and say socialism is fine, no problem, trick is, long as i'ts their fingers on the trigger, not YOURS....

ANY .gov large enough to GIVE you want you want, is large enough to TAKE what they want.....want your house 'redistributed' to the lazy clowns down the road a piece?? that's what Nobam essentially meant .....

listen to their sound bites on Beck.....

note how they always attack the messenger, not the message.....

It's a rare breed of human to espouse in socialist this and socialist that ... typically you saw this kind of person emerge in high school who was rejected by the elitist clique or bullyed ... or a sensitive or tormented or abused psyche ill-equipped to cope with people or parents who are dictatorial and belittlers ... and they might even be masquerading or masquerading their pain ...

As adults we see their inability to *move on* either by natural maturity or disciplined ...

The (R)'s / Tea Baggers / neocons are the worst ... at this juncture, never expect them to back off ... they are caught up in rhetoric so inflammatory and embeded that it is not possible to even see that it is invisible ... just words.

Bush was the worst case scenario ... here's a guy to this day plays and displays himself as the village idiot so well ... you don't know what his motivations and influences are/were now or then and his decision points memoirs only furthered this *faux paux* on the public as well as his book tour where his appearence as an ex-president now on the circuit was shocking ... as if everything is good.

Palin, Beck, insHannity, Bill'O, Rushbo, Levin, Coultergeist et al get paid millions to prey on the kind of people who are weak-minded ... real zeros in life whipped-up by imaginary leaders / prophets ... false mesisiahs who have emerged to follow the money trail from christian televangelism to the political spectrum / arena ...

Again, goes to one of the damndest things the exotix ever saw ...

It is the socialists who appeal to weak minded folks, promising all the crap for essentially FREE, but without saying who pays.....shit ain't free, RS101 in engineering tells you that much...the typical 5th grader finds that out in the candy store line, others not so much.....and so those 'others' are easily led/herded like sheep, and drag the productive members down kicking and screaming along with them.....

Since about 70% of the paychecks depend on a .gov source of income, from contractors for paper, computer, programming, to direct .gov employees from school janitor to Pres/USA....they typically vote the liberal/PROGRESSIVE line, which is essentially theft of money/services/work effort to support some damn lazy asses who don't have the ambition, brains, or work ethic......

A liberal is a thief, plain and simple, they vote to divert money from the productive members of society to the lazy good for nothings who are better off dead......

i't s POWER game for liberals, every thing is FINE long as THEY are in power dictating how much is paid.....

Law of physics, any .gov strong enough to provide, is strong enough to TAKE.....

CFPR&C has always been a good place for *observation* of right-wing hysteria ... the sophisticated will look for behaviors and emotionalism that may yield wether their fear-based hate is real or imagined ... one must only be practiced in *ethics* or *ethos* ... the underlying sentiments that informs beliefs ...

After a while though it gets tedious, time-consuming and quite frankly .. boring.

Liberals are without any 'ethics' as they are using the power of .gov to essentially steal from the producers in competition with one another, to satisfy their 'ethos' which is that someone everyone has to have a equal living standard, and by GOD, they WILL make that happen, they don't care who they literally KILL (Stalin) or steal from to make their ideal world happen....insane taxes and .gov regs making life miserable for anyone with the guts to get outta bed in the morning....

Exotix simply has to be a young kid in his 20's who paid too much attention to his professors, and never held a real job....

as did most of my friends......over some 40 cognitive years, even back in grade school visiting .gov offices on summer break.....

then I have lived in the rest of the REAL world also, and visited plenty enough to make legit comments....

The reduction of the term "socialist" from its actual meaning to simply being an epithet which means "anything I don't agree with" has been going on for a long time, but has greatly accelerated within the past 3 years or so.

In reality, the core tenet of socialism is that the government should own the means of the production and distribution of goods. So Virginia ABC stores are outright socialist. Government partial ownership of GM is socialist. Legalizing gay marriage is not socialist.

TARP & Reivestment Act is socialist ... except the Bailing out of the Banks (clause) ... redistibution of wealth to wealthy is Founding Fathers constitutionalist ... in the flavor of Adams I believe ...
