Somewhat unrelated, I voted in the state primary the other night. The line for the Republicans was out the door, while there where maybe 3 people on the Democrat side. From those I talked to, it was the same way in other precincts as well. The Democrats were pummeled in Texas and their turnout was miserable. They are no longer calling the mid-terms in November a "red wave"...it's now being called a "red tsunami".

Not one to miss an opportunity, when I walked into the auditorium and saw all the Republicans on one side and the Democrat side nearly empty, I said fairly loudly "No waiting on aisle D!!!"

The only people in the room that weren't hysterical were the Democrat volunteers.
