Iphone 6 plus here.

Love it.

I see absolutely no reason to have upgraded it since I bought it a few years ago. In fact the only reason I may upgrade in the future is when 5G becomes available in my area, or it dies.

The 6 plus is so big you can actually set it on a counter or a table and watch what you're streaming like it's a TV. Perfect for camping.

I should mention I have grandfathered unlimited data.

The only concern I would have is that it is a 32GB device and not the 64 GB. Depending on what she wants to download she could run out of storage quickly.

She has a 5s with 16gb right now
32 would be big upgrade for her.
If I can snag that one for 2fiddy, it would be perfect.
The 6s Plus is too big for her .

Be aware of a known 6 plus defect. Touchscreen will freeze and be unusable. I had to replace a 6 Plus.

I thought that the battery was bad. They will replace it for $29.
Also, there is now a software upgrade to fix it from freezing and throttling.

Otherwise, Apple will replace it for $29.00.
That is one of the issues that the 6 series has.

My last “company phone” was a 6S. When I retired in October I bought a new 6S. Works fine for me and I like the size (I have the standard size not Plus)

I currently have an 8+ but for three years before I happily rocked a 6. Go for it, the 6S is a much improved phone over the 6, which worked flawlessly for me. I still use the 6 as an iPod in a Bose docking station. Your wife will be happy with it.

One thing I would recommend is to connect it to iTunes and re-install the operating system. Even though the ad says it is reset, nothing works better than a fresh new install.
