There are 6 additional hard drives in the tower, and I did copy documents, downloads and desktop to one of those drives so they are also accessible to the new computer. I just truly wanted a fresh operating system and 2x OS drive capacity.

Those are handsome scores. You have to put in perspective that this box is over 3 years old. That I7 is at least 3 generations behind the current I7, and the new I9's are much faster. When I bought that chip it was $1,100. My next build will be balls-to-the-walls XEON (possibly multi-processor) with 256 GB of ECC memory. I'm tired of not having ECC memory. Also, the 18 monitors will jump to 4K each from 1920x1200 (and 1920x1080). I'll have the same footprint, but 4 times the desktop area. They now have 6 port high-end video cards, so the 3 cards will be able to handle all 18 natively. I'll never see a need to go beyond 18. It's essentially a 180 degree wall. I'm not going to build a circle of monitors.

286 with 1024k RAM. 640k conventional, the rest configured in config.sys for expanded memory. EGA monitor. 40MB Seagate HDD. 3.5 HD floppy drive. 2400 baud modem. Connectronix emulation card so the mainframe will see it as a IBM 5150. Aboveboard card for the additional RAM. AMI BIOS.

Oh wait, that was 1990.
