Default William Shatner with his 63 split window Corvette and his Dobermann called Kirk.

Made one year, fuel injected, luggage rack. Worth a lot of $$$$, with chrome reverse wheels.

Seen that picture a bunch, notice the rare luggage rack on the back...
A fuel injected example with non-factory (looks like rally) wheels.
The stance doesn't look factory either (but hard to tell for certain).

I never likes the look of those luggage racks. And the one on the midyears is god awful.

Yeah, because this was shot- Pre-anal retentive, money grubbing, control junkies started chasing people away from car clubs....

First thing to change out was tires and wheels, then moved on to the radio/speakers, followed by psychedelic paint jobs.....Remember, you were there!

Yeah my 71 had a rack before I bought it (no way will I remove it) the car has its original paint. The 72 does not have it!

My Bryar Blue 72 had one too....I took it off and tried to fill the holes before I had it painted. Did everything I was told but still the filled holes telegraphed and became visible within a few months.....

Mine was resale red over what was the original Donnybrook Green. I used a few of those plastic hole caps.

I’d remove that ugly crap and leave it in the parking lot.

My 75 had a luggage rack and I used it. I had t-top straps and put them on the rack often.

Luggage racks only look good on some cars - like this one, (should have kept it):
