My wife has the "glamorous" job of housekeeping at the local hospital. You watch the news or read articles and all the praise go to the doctors and nurses. Folks like my wife who keep things CLEAN make the "glorious ones" look good.

I'll try this again: I posted a week ago that the "exponential growth doubling every 2-3 days" that was all over the news was overblown. Friday night I posted that the time from 100K US totally cases to 200K total cases was 5 days, so it doubled in 5 days. There is no other way to interpret the data from the source that we were using, that I DID NOT PICK! Talking to you is like trying to explain calculus to a rock.

Like I said in another thread, we should also be grateful for the folks who keep our grocery stores stocked. They are exposed to the unwashed masses every day so that we can get food. I go out of my way to thank the folks at the supermarket I frequent when I am there, because I have seen first hand the whackos they deal with on a daily basis.

I'm going to work everyday too. I'm a machinist and have been deemed "essential" for the work I do. ( medical, water treatment and military items)

Folks just need to follow basic common sense procedures and we'll make it thru this. Wash your hands with soap and water ( alcohol based "juice" is good only if you don't have access to soap and water ). Keep your distance from folks and by all means, if you feel "off" stay home !!!!!

Huh, we increase testing and find more cases - who would have believed that. Most of those testing positive are told to quarantine at home and will heal just fine with no medical treatment.

Testing here locally requires you to have one or more symptoms; 93% are negative.

Still waiting for exponential growth and 25,000,000 confirmed cases in CA. Not holding my breath.

I agree, maybe that number was if no action was taken this started when Doug 2 stated doubling every two or three days wasn’t happening when in fact it did.

You can’t have it both ways.......

When it suits the argument everyone states there are millions positive that nobody knows about because they’re at home with a cough.

And then there’s more cases because more are tested.

It’s simple. There’s more cases because more people have it.

I believe you. I can get stats for every province of how many tests and their results. I can’t find a single place that shows tested numbers for the US

Stats can be interpreted different ways, I look at numbers and draw my own conclusions. Numbers don't lie, stats are generally bullshit being twisted to show a certain perspective of the presenter.
