I can walk (or ski) to Homewood from here.

We reside in the Rockies. I'll take skiing on the worst day in the Sierra's, Rockies or 5hrs south of us in the Wasatch range (Park City) over ANYTHING east of the Rockies.

Here's just one resort 50min from home. Notice what you don't see?...crowds!
But feel free to post-up an eastcoast mountain. I can't imagine the wait in lift lines...to ski ice...at < 2500ft elevation.

I never set foot on snow outside of CO. No need to see how lame everywhere else is.

You don't have mountains...you have hills with crappy snow/ice and most likely way overcrowded.
But feel free to post pics of those killer high elevation runs.
We don't call it ice- we call it "fast". "Ski it if you can."

Not crowded at all M-F.

Caught this 20lb ferel yesterday morning after 3 weeks of trying. Been fkn up my yard for 2 months. With the new pup, we didn't know what it was until I picked up a trail cam.

It was also eating fish from a guys pond on the next street. Got it in a humane trap and took it to Animal Services. Lined the back of the suv with plastic in case it want to take a piss.

They said they could tell it had been caught before because the left ear was trimmed.

Trimming their ears? I guess it would be easier to identify when they try to come back

Ice pebbles. With 1,000 feet of "thrilling" drop. East coast skiing is the ultimate suck and I should know. I grew up in a "ski town" in Pennsylvania and now live in Virginia. Skiing on the east coast is like ****ing a smelly fat girl who tells you to get off her every 20 seconds. You'll do it because it's all you have, but you can't say that it is enjoyable.

Maybe tag their ears like cattle. That way everyone would know who the illegals are. THAT, would be very interesting.

I never ****ed a fat girl, especially a smelly one, so I'll defer to your expertise.

I have way back when(Circa early to mid 60s). Fat yes but not a smeller. I always believed in the old saying waste not want not.

Has anyone been East-Coast skiing behind a really fat woman, and then realized she shit herself, which is why she stunk so bad, but then ****ed her on the ice anyway?

Come on, I can't be the only one!

One of the benefits of living in a mountain region is that there are far less fatsos. They tend to be flatlanders.

This is, in my experience, true.

When I moved out into the Central Valley I couldn't believe how many fat people were out here. I mean FAT. I went into Kaiser for an annual check up and they were asking the height and weight at initial check in where I was and every single woman there had 40 to 100 pounds on me. (I was 170 at the time) and all were shorter than I. White and Hispanic, mostly. Upper arms like Easter Hams. Jeebus.

People who choose to live or vacation in the mountains tend to be more active. They ski, hike, golf, fish, raft. What do the do at the coast? Go to the beach, sit around and wait for their next meal.

Well then. The beach sounds like the perfect vacation spot for GrandsportC3!

Most beach town communities have plenty of outdoor activities. Including saltwater and freshwater fishing. Golf is huge in theses towns and they usually have multiple courses. Tennis and other court sports are popular in these coastal and resort communities. Water skiing is big. As is stand up paddle boarding and other water sports like kayak fishing, etc. And may of these communities have hiking and walking trails through state parks and preserves.

All well and good, but there is no denying that the closer you get to the coast, the fatter are the people. Just my personal observation.
