Last month, I was getting several HF emails stating I won a free prize. I reported them as spam via Yahoo and haven't seen any this month.

Yup, definitely not limited to HF. I'm surprised HF wants anonymous emails forwarded to them. Most companies simply tell you to delete them and never click on a link in an email.

My FIL has fallen for countless scams and lost thousands of dollars more than once.

He was stubborn and lost money 3 times getting his computer unlocked befoee he called me. Last year he gave his bank account info to someone
At this rate there won't be any money for the BIL to steal when he passes.

A co-worker made one of these with an light bulb that worked at the base of the handle and would hand it to apprentices and tell them to "...plug it in and get to work".
