EVEN IF YOU DON'T LIKE THE PRESIDENT.

President Trump is against their GRAVY TRAIN! That is why so many of the Congress are retiring. They hope to keep their retirement as it stands now.

The Plan, Fat Chance? We can only hope!

This makes too much sense not to be passed on. But at least we can make our wishes known and hope. I’m with Trump on this one and always will be.


The Trump Rule’s Congressional Reform Act of 2018:

1 – NO TENURE / NO PENSION.
A Congressman/Woman, collects a salary while in office and receives No Pay when they’re Out Of Office. No More Perks Go With Them.

2 – Congressman/Woman (Past, Present & Future) participate in Social Security. All Funds in the Congressional Retirement Fund Move To The Social Security System Immediately. All future funds flow into the Social Security System and Congress participates with the American People. It may not be used for any other purposes.

3 – Congress must purchase their own Retirement Plan, just as all Americans do.

4 – Congress will No Longer Vote Themselves a Pay Increase. Congressional Pay will rise by the lower of CPI or 3%.

5 – Congress loses their current Healthcare System and participates in the same Healthcare System as the American People.

6 – Congress must equally abide by all the Laws they impose on the American People.

7 – All contracts with Past and Present Congressman/Woman are Void. The American People did not make this Contract with Congressmen/Women. Congress made all these Contracts For Themselves. Serving in Congress is an Honor, Not a Career. The Founding Fathers envisioned Citizen Legislators should serve their Terms, then go home and go back to work and not
get all kinds of Freebies!

I hate to say it Norm, but that has been circulating in one form or another, via e-mail, for years.
It would be really nice if their entitlements equaled ours, but that would seem to be a pipe dream, as they would have to vote for their own pay/ benefit cuts.
I don't see that ever happening.

We all know it's been around for a while, but there is always that glimmer of hope that Trump could upset that apple cart, maybe be a talking point at next election time, even if just a fraction of it, who knows.

I assumed the mass retirements had to do with the $ 17M taxpayer funded sexual impropriety payoff fund, and the very real possibility that Trump made that info public, about which congressmen had payoffs made on their behalf, or on behalf of their staffers.

It's BS that taxpayer money should be used for hush money. Let those congressmen pay for that shit themselves.

CoNNgress is a minor issue.....the greatest thing is the Fed Civil Svc retirement/pay system.....

the ticket to life is get a degree in basketweaving, make a wife out of someone similar, both work for the .gov in DC, get a master's degree, and both of them GS11+ starting out.....today retire after 30 years doing nothing at 60% of salary, typically GS 14+ level....

it used to be 80% of salary.....GS14 is about 180k/year today....

wife is same situation.....so incomes of about 120k/year in retirement....

in the future it will be less % but the dollar amount be the same....

mind you, this for doing essentially nothing for 30 years.....

lost in some office the only one knowing of their existence is the payroll office....

Socialists (21st century democrats) are slick; in that they do buy votes... but it's disguised as "aid" (handouts).

And they don't use their own money; instead they reach into our paychecks for the funding.
