Audiophiles... can I use my older GEX-P920XM XM tuner with my AVIC-Z2 to get XM?
Pioneer specifies a different XM Tuner for use with the AVIC-Z2, but it looks exactly the same other than one extra port for something on the back of it. The AVIC-Z2 operators guide only refers to the newer module when talking about traffic updates etc.
So... I have a hunch I could use the existing GEX-P920XM I have and get XM radio jus fine? Anyone know? Any audo/video stores that would give me an honest answer vs. trying to sell me upgrades? Thanks, Brian

Thanks for responding.... I figured it out the other day. Realized the newer XM module is only if you want the Nav-Traffic features and you have to pay an extra fee to XM anyway! Instlaling the XM this weekend.
