Default Ipod install

I finally received my Ipod2car interface this week. It came from a seller in Canada so took a little longer than expected. I hope to get it installed today and see how it works?

Looking foward to the new stereo sounds!

Thanks to "Munch" for some direction on this one...it took about 10 minutes to install and try it out. (that included actually reading the directions first)

I still have to run the wires beneath the carpet but I'm impressed with the sound and how easy it was. I did seem to lose the ability to scroll using the wheel on my Ipod however the head unit functions work fine.

I think I'm going to like the ability to listen to 2000 songs instead of swapping out CD's.

Did you also lose the functionality of the scroll wheel. I have a 3rd gen classic ipod and that feature stops working when hooked to the interface?

No big deal...just surprised it stops working?

I have an iPod touch so no wheel. I have heard that on some models the tuning knob on your head unit will take the place of the scroll wheel on your iPod. Might try that and see what happens.

You're going to love using the Ipod in your Vette. I just installed a GM PAL and use an Ipod Nano 3rd gen. Ipod is controllable via the NAV touchscreen using the PAL. I only had a single CD player since I have NAV so having an 8 GB Ipod is great when you consider the ability to store over 2000 mp3 files.
