rattleing speaker
Anyone have a cure for the ratteling front door Bose speaker.I thought it was the little Bose emblem on the grill but found out different.

I see this is a few months ago, but there aren't any replies... so...
Sometimes you just have to break out the screwdriver and do some testing. That is, Remove parts until the noise stops. Investigate removed part and correct. Almost every time I've had a door rattle it was due to the plastic pins that attach the door card. The remedy is simple: Put a dab of clear silicone household glue (Do not use an epoxy or strong glue!!) on them. It will freeze them in place. The glue is weak enough that it will break easily if you need to remove the door. Other remedies I've used include bits of weatherstrip tape and sheets of foam. |

I thought I found the rattle in the tiny Bose emblem but that was not it.
