Hmmmm I'm in the same mess of a merger, haven't seen a monthly charge YET... Nor a notice of one forthcoming. I will check thanks Mike.

Threw some burgers in the ole pie hole for dinner. Tired and don't feel like cooking today.
Cut down some southern pine for a threshold and worked on a table top today. Making a table for under the TV in living room to replace the old cabinet stereo/LP we never use anymore.

Just got back from rescuing the kid from school. Her front brakes started making this horrible squealing noise suddenly when she got to school. We thought it might be a rock in the caliper, but I didn't want her driving home 20 miles on a hunch. It wouldn't come out by backing up, so I took it to Schwab's. The guy had it out in 5 minutes, but he did have to take the tire off.

Stikki

Ordered firewood for Friday.

Putting the car and clubs away this weekend

Probably the last summer with the Vette. Want to try something different.

Could have been much worse. Glad her and the car are good.

Funny but I had that happen on my Furd f350 on way home from a game years ago, felt it pulling hard right. First I figured the tire was going flat when got out the rim was almost smoking. Luckily i had a cooler full of water which vaporized mostly. Drove it home stopping to throw ditch water on it a couple of times as we were out in the country and no road service back then. It cooked the brake sliders and rubbers of course. I did repack the bearings also as they got a tad warm. Found a pebble wedged in the pad keeping it from releasing (bound the caliper up).

She drives an F250 . Fortunately for her, it happened in the parking lot and Schwab's was only 5 minutes away. 45 years of driving and I've never had that happen to me.

There was an XLR (burgundy with tan int) for sale about 6 weeks ago. Something like that or 300 series Z (Vert)

5th summer with the Vette and getting bored. It took 10 years to feel this way when I sold the Z28.

Surprised this happened so quick

👍

Either or is still cool.

XLR would be my choice, different but still cool. I'm on the hunt for a Mopar B-body. Crazy what people are asking, even junk they think there worth $10k.
