The Chef for the Gonzaga University Athletic Dept.
is cooking dinner for the wife and me right now.
He's my stepson and he's down here from Spokane visiting for the weekend. Not sure what he's making, something with chicken. |

I love it when other people cook for me. That's pretty much always. |

Yeah, he lived with us for awhile years ago while he worked at the local country club. I thought this is going to be great, I can have him cook anything I want from my favorite restaurant. He did, but the downside is you find out that chefs don't do dishes.

I'll oad the dishwasher occasionally and maybe do some pots & pans, but that is rare. I don't expect Mrs Jeff to do construction or yard work though. |

Since retirement, I decided to take on all dishwashing and laundry, since I'm not good for much else.
The wife does occasionally dry and put dishes away. None of it's really a big chore when there's just the two of us and the kitchen is pretty small. |

I don't get why people feel the compulsive need to dry dishes. That's what a dish rack is for. No matter how wet they are, by the next day, yep, always dry.

That's what I usually do, but when there are lots of dishes, limited space means drying some so I can wash more.
