I've got an RCBS press with dies for 30-06, .38/.357 . I haven't reloaded in years though. I was wondering if components can even be found. Bullets and primers are in high demand right now.

Going all the way back to the beginning, you make no mention of sorting cases by caliber since .38 and .357 rounds are often shot from the same weapon. No inspection for case bulges, dents, crushed case mouths or splits. No cleaning of primer pockets, no case length checks, trimming, deburring or case cleaning. More recently, .45ACP brass needs sorted by primer size since small pistol brass is much more common than previously. Please don't take offense, I offer this as a guy who weighs each and every powder charge (and projo if purchased in bulk); I just wish all the tyros out there safe reloading and straight shooting.

EDIT Before starting with cartridge of choice, SORT by both caliber and then by primer size. .38 and .357 are the same diameter and only differ in length. Do NOT load .38 caliber cases to .357 loads. .45 acp can have either small or large primer pockets |
