We got ours today....albeit FAR from the $2,400 it should have been for a married couple. The falloff is rapid. We made too much.

What "if" I was actually unemployed at the moment...despite what I made in 2018?

Can't believe you got one baller?? Mine was very small. Unless they took a chit load of taxes out for it few hundred is eating money anyway

many years go, after my little heart problem, which resulted in some pretty big medical bills, we of course did our taxes the next year and took our allowed deductions. after was all done, we were due a small state refund. cool. a few weeks pass, we get our refund check in the mail. also in the envelope was a flyer telling us how we could apply for food stamps.



our net income was so low that they flagged us as "poor" and included the food stamp info.

we didn't apply.

on paper, we were broke.

Son, daughter-in-law got theirs today by direct deposit. She is still trying to get unemployment! IRS site says it needs more info from me because we have not received a refund for several years. Routing number, info on tax return.
