Meh. Gas leak is plugged. Suck ass weather is forever.

Up to the last couple of days we were having the mildest winter EVER. and they predict current trends to continue. You on the other hand are waiting for the biggest most deady quake in the history of the world! At least you'll have beach front property where you are!

Our politics are Canadian and should never be compared to the mess Cali or the USA is. apples-oranges

Are we talking about the specific faults now? I thought we were talking about portions of California falling off, giving me oceanfront property?

In terms of the number of deaths caused by earthquakes versus other natural disasters...I'll take my chances. I'm more likely to get hit by a bus.

Put it this way...I think the New Madrid fault is more overdue than the San Andreas, but I doubt that the southeast is wringing their hands over it.

We are prepared for earthquakes, like anyone should be for any natural disaster, but it doesn't keep me up at night. I'll let you do the worrying for me.

I went from 90 deg in the Dominican on Saturday to -5 in Oswego Saturday night. We had no snow when we left and came home to over 3 ft. I saw on the news that it was -114 w/ wind chill on Whiteface Mtn in Lake Placid....
