Might as well go all the way.
That’s why the C7 didn’t sell well and why there’s no demand for the C8.

Oh, wait...

Seriously, I’ve talked to a few of those “purists.” For the most part they’re elderly and wouldn’t buy a new Vette no matter what. They’re not the target audience for a Corvette.

And yes, other brands known for performance cars have been successful with crossovers, but they called them something else. I suspect it wouldn’t go over well if, for example, Porsche introduced an electric crossover called the E-911.

I have been trying to decide between a Tesla or a C8.... an e-vette might tilt the scales in Chevy's favor imo

Since you're on the list for a Cybertruck, get a C8 as well.

Yes, Chris Monroe (Cheryl Ladd) had a '76 Cobra. Mine was a silver hatchback with a small amount of two-tone black on the bottom. I could only lay rubber because the thing was RWD, and massively front heavy. It sucked in the snow, and was a maintenance nightmare. Add to that the fact that it got about 10 mpg around town with no real performance, and honestly, I would rate that car as "piece of shit".

FWIW: Cheryl was, and still is, my favorite angel.

Both were eye-poppingly gorgeous for the time.
