Many posts saying "personal attacks are not allowed" the moment you post something contrary. You can say, "Don't be ignorant/stupid/naive/blind/and idiot" and one of the Nancies will come back with something about mods or personal attacks so their search or notification functions can be alerted.

It's sad that the entire place has been castrated and IB has a truck with 400 ball sacks hanging off the back bumper.

I really think IB would be perfectly happy eliminating the OT and P&R forums completely. They have nothing to do with Corvettes and really add nothing to any Corvette discussion, yet they're the most heavily moderated. I wouldn't be surprised if we're seeing the start of that process.

And I lay the blame for it squarely at Jesse's feet for leading the forum downhill that way. He doesn't see it that way, but many do and his choice of mods has absolutely ****ed up PR&C or whatever they call it now.

Jesse doesn't own CF. A very large corporation owns it, and they make the rules. I suspect with the political correctness running amok now they are trying to avoid conflict to stay out of the PC spotlight. It ain't gonna change.

The pendulum is swinging back.

When I first joined over there almost 20 years ago, they were even more strict than they are today. You couldn't post the picture of Kelly Rippa's cameltoe, nor any pictures of PedoBear (remember him?), without at least a warning. A few years ago they loosened up quite a bit, even allowing people to use cuss words. Now they're once again heading back the other way.

For years, the main mods were GRUMPY and another guy (or two) and I really don't recall any problems in YEARS there.
