Good luck finding property by then - prices here are rising fast, suburbs are filling up, and the roads can't keep up with it. Our little town is now about 35K population; in 2000 it was just over 5K.

Our backup is always Bowling Green or Bardstown, vettes or bourbon, either work for us

From the reports coming out over the past few years Texas has been the number one state for new intra state immigration. Florida is number 2.

The difference is Florida is number 1 in attracting HNW individuals. Many are just changing thier official state of domicile to Florida to avoid the taxes in their NE and Mid western states.

What I have seen in the 5 years we've been coming down here is an increasing number of Middle and upper middle class making Florida their full time residence and visiting friends and family up north.
