The solution is to incarcerate HEAVILY until it is understood that stealing will take years off your life.

Of course, many are doing worse. I’ve never suggested otherwise. But some are doing better and it is wrong to judge based on skin color. Discriminating is OK in my opinion., though.

Do you place the same responsibility on Palestinians not fixing Hamas? On muslims not fixing the Taliban? Should legal immigrants not report illegals in the US?

While there may be fear of reporting my neighbor, I have no fear of reporting yours, nor you reporting mine. I have a hand in keeping my neighborhood safe and the "I didn't see nothin'" attitude is a HUGE part of the criminals taking power.

If a house got broken in to and every neighbor on the street ratted out Darnell, then Darnell goes to jail. When Darnell gets out, he'll know he doesn't belong on the street. When no one says anything, Darnell continues.

Growing up you were taught to respect officers of the law and have a certain amount of fear too.When a police officer told you to move on,stop or anything else you listened ! You never called them names or told them to **** off....and if you did your father (if you had one) would kick your ass too !

On our street, permission was granted to all neighbors to discipline as necessary.

Not sure how you equate someone not being responsible for other people because they share a skin color ~, with not snitching?

If I see someone doing wrong, I’m going to do something to right it, (unless I get paid to look the other way).

Edit: And yes, I don’t think Palestinians are responsible for Hamas nor Muslims responsible for the Taliban. They might want to get involved because they suffer the consequences of not doing so but I reject collectivism entirely.

A collectivist could classify them as “your / our people”, simply because you’re, we’re, all Americans. A similar dynamic is at work with gun owners and the “reparations” b.s.

I remember the neighborhood moms smacking us around when we were kids.... then it got worse when dad got home.

One cold February, four of my friends and I made a cardboard fort in one kid's back yard. It was cold, we were hungry, and we had plenty of cardboard left over. So, what did we do?
