Friend's cancer dr called said come in today... Never a good sign.
He's on another round of chemo(he just doesn't tell me anymore so probably been on many rounds) to keep shit from spreading, anywho white cell count tanked big time so no more chemo. Getting mri on spleen soon along with some very expensive prescriptions. They want to drain fluid off liver again which hurts like a bitch so he's saying no and won't let them sample bone marrow. They've suspected that's where cancer is spreading from for a year or more. They've worn him down so much from tests, treatments and whatnot that he just stops all Dr's for a few months to recover.
Today was ct scan with dye and he reacts very badly to it, like puking, migraines, etc for 24 to 36 hrs.
Ya know for all the technology we have he has more ****in blood work and scans ordered by 12 different doctors constantly. It's non stop 3 to 4 days a week sometimes. It's like this hand doesn't know what the other one is doing. And if any of his doctors would actually give 2 shits what it costs him for visits, scans, blood work and scripts hell would have frozen over. /rant off.
