Too close to home.

Other than visiting Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, I've never found a reason to venture there.

A 1 year old baby was shot & killed. Absolutely disgusting.

I cannot remember when Hwod Beach was ever a good choice, as all other Broward Beaches were safer, and offered more.

I was there about 8 years ago, wifey got us a weekend at Margaritaville, the hotel was very nice, but the boardwalk was DAMN scary, nothing but homeless junkies looking for their next fix.

I would never go there again, no reason, as nothing is being developed, city of Hwood is lagging behind all other beachside areas, it is an embarrassment.

I can think of at least ten other city beaches that are FAR superior, even Deerfield and Pompano are much better.

This is the current style. One of our female newscasters has a similar hairstyle, only it's dyed blonde. Yes, it looks like some nappy headed ho shit to me, too, but let's think about it.....there was a time when people had mullets and that was considered somewhat mainstream.

I don't understand why men, especially, would pay money to have a weird looking haircut, but then again, I'm a jorts and white New Balance shoe wearing old guy, so what do I know about being fashionable?

If that's cool with their community, who am I to question it? I also think most of the $ 300 tennis shoes they wear are butt ugly. Again, I'm probably not a good judge of what's fashionable.
