No, a viral video of an SUV vehicle crash test is not real.

While my SUV is not in the animation, the Model X got 5 stars in every single crash test rating category.

I don't think that the animation is really representative of reality.

I'll remember this the next time I tailgate a concrete wall.

Kindly tell me what SUV or basically anything under a Bradley Fighting

Vehicle would not get totally wasted after getting hit with a concrete truck.

Empty would not do as much damage but there would be plenty, A few yards of mix in the back and its a super hit for sure!

Wrong-O. Full frame vehicle would crumple less but you would crumple more. The new unibodies are self-sacrificial to save the occupants. Full frame vehicles tend to NOT absorb the impact through crushing, so the occupants tend to remain in motion longer. I knew a guy who got killed in his '51 GMC pickup when he was hit by a Honda or Toyota at an intersection. He was thrown into the A-pillar, and smashed his head. Truck was drivable and not even really damaged. The A pillar on a '51 GMC is stout enough to use as a towbar.
Crush Zones are a good thing for people. Not so much for the car, though.

Sorry to hear that. Was he wearing a seat belt with shoulder harness?

I don't do SUVs. Wife has an Outback, but it's more of a wagon than an SUV. I hate tall cars. I hate them more when the driver is engaged with their phone. I'll stick to Corvettes.

Just a lap belt, added to the vehicle. A shoulder harness would have made the difference for sure.

No Suburban shown but I will also make a mental note not to park in front of a concrete wall.

We should ban concrete walls. Then, we wouldn't need concrete mixing trucks like the one in the vehicle, so this problem would disappear completely.

SUV's are for people who don't like tight spaces. When I had Corvettes, most of them were convertible and I drove them with the top down whenever it wasn't raining because of the open space. I don't like to be in a tight space for too long time. That's why most of the cars that I owned before I went SUV were convertibles. I had 2 skin cancers, so that was it for convertibles for me.. Trucks and SUV's since.
