Alignment shop
I am getting new tires for my 98 and thought now is the time to get an alignment. The Firestone shop at Chesapeake Square is putting Bridgestone RE760 all around and I asked for an alignment. He said a Corvete is a special car and required some special techniques and it started at 199.00 plus an extra charge for aligning the steering wheel, and another charge if they had to remove the steering wheel, so I should be looking at 270 or so, worse case. I thought 199.00 was a little high, but when he started talking all the other stuff, I thought I better ask for some guidence from knowledgable people.
Where in Tidewater is a reputable shop for an alignment on our cars and what cost should I be looking at? |

They did my Z. They took the time getting it up on the machine using blocks and ramps. They had the stock service manual and verified all the info in the machine was correct before starting. I was very pleased and the car feels great.

I do alignments in Providence Forge...new Hunter system...the rear can be a "bear" and you will have to remove front air dam if not stock height. Even then its tight. We run an average of $79 front...up to $149 if the rear is way off. Only one in a hundred will need to pull steering wheel !
