Well, I may be poor, as in not wealthy, and even though my hair is really short right now, I'm not bald.

Age 76 here, turned mostly all bald maybe 5 years ago, lately got tired of the gray hair around my ears/back, and so started getting wifey to do the shaver routine, sometimes I do it myself.....not enough to worry with one way or another.....

When I get my hair cut, I sometimes tell them to only cut the gray hair. They usually look at me funny.

My neighbor friend is about 3-4 years younger, and a pretty damn well FULL head of long gray hair....maybe balding in the front a tad, but I threaten to cut my wife's gray hair and super glue it to MY head......

When he was in his 50's, where I'm at now, he started with the bald spot at the crown. Went on from there. Now, he shaves his head.
