I find a lot of the time when people complain about their experience in any organization the problem isn't the organization, it's them.

I’d take that chance. Never sat in a Ferrari, much less driven one. I’d scare the corn poops out of him. Especially when I wrap it around a tree.

Physics laws. I would violate them all.

You have never driven a Ferrari?

The most exotic car I’ve driven is a 66 327/300 convertible 4spd when I was 15. I’m gonna count that. I think I wet myself. Rode in a Panamera and a 928. Also might have wet myself. I am not worldly. Just your average schmuck with no biz being here as a c4 owner.

Depends on the individual. If the individual is a liberal, gay, and stupid (which goes hand in hand), then the car club could lean towards liberal, gay and stupid.

YMMV

I worked at a gas station and garage while in high school and the local car dealer brought one in for the mechanic to work on. It was red with the 427. Ask me to ride along on test ride. Impressed the crap out of me. He told me they were asking $10,000 for it which was a lot of money in 67.

Never been in a car club so I wouldn’t know, just what I’ve heard from many. No political affiliation attached that I know of. As an individual, do you speak from experience?

I have been in a couple local Vette clubs. For the most part there a little on the conservative side politically, but to be honest unless something big is gong on you would never know that.

IMHO many people buying/owning Vettes are more educated and better funded than lots of other people and just in general enjoy a better life style.

FWIW I'm a member of the NCM, was a long time member of the C5/6 registry, with many years of going to Carlisle, meeting Vette people from all over the country.

Most exotics your feet have to be able to touch the pedals so i can see that. My son's F-430 was one of the most fun car i've driven more so than the Ferrari F-50 and lambo i drove.

Yes, sounds like double the amount for a Corvette then.

Brother worked at a gas station just off a major highway in the mid '70s. He said a real deal 427 Cobra came in one afternoon. The driver got on it hard getting back onto the interstate. He never forgot that sound.

Hell, GM might not even manage to deliver more than the 300 or so they managed to sell the very first year of Corvette production. They are almost certain to do as well as an Indy Pace Car... if not better than a 1983!
