1993 40th Anniverssary ZR1 Fairy Tale Story

I was driving from the hospital this morning and decided to stop at the over rated and expensive dealership. There they sell old great muscle cars and other beauties at a price that only rich people
with dreams who know nothing about cars can afford. I must say it is always worth the time to stop and
admire the beauties there and today there was a 93 ZR1 40th Anniversary (No Jon, it was not black).

I asked the used car salesman about it and his response was "It came in today, the owner wants sixty".
I thought I heard sixty and I asked the man "Sixteen?", "No, $60,000, SIX-ZERO"

I laughed and said "he needs to read more"

I took the liberty of taking some pictures with my cell phone. The Vette is clean b ut, we know is not
worth $60,000 and I say is not worth half of that.

Maybe the guy is a innovator, a trend setter, a leader. Maybe he is tired of a flat C4 market. Someone needs to push the envelope and he's the man to do it. Nah, he's probably a dipsh!t who don't know jack about cars.

For $65k I'd just buy an brand new leftover 2011 Z06.

That 93 Ruby is one fine example, but as much as I like C4's, believe me that it is questionable at half that price. ZR-1's are great if you don't compare them to their contemporaries coming out of Bowling Green... Even the base coupe is a little faster and handles a LOT better.

I was only speaking C4 purchae wise, if I could afford 60 I would buy a C6 Z06 too

If I had an extra $60,000 laying around I would just keep the car I have and hire her to work on it..Much better then a ZR1.....WW
