This kid, Brendan Leipsic (from here) has a private text exchange between him, his brother and two other Minor league players and his career is all but over before it could start.

Somehow they ended up public and the shit has hit the fan, his brother has already been released from University of Manitoba Bisons.

Brendan, until today, played for the Washington Capitals

Puh-leeze. Damn good thing there are no pros or celebs here. Just say it and own it. It's the apology that does the damage. It says you know it's wrong and you did something wrong. If I make a remark about somebody's wife's ass or something, fk it. I said it. They can be pissed, but if I REALLY thought it was wrong, I wouldn't have said it. If they were offended, I'm sorry they were offended, but not sorry for the remark.

He’s done for sure. One of the comments was about the wife of a player for Vancouver Canucks. He also shit on Connor McDavid’s girlfriend. Maybe the KHL if he’s lucky.

He made the comments that were then posted on social media. No difference for any other job. I post comments on a co-workers hot/ugly/fat/skinny wife/gf and a visit with H-R will more than likely be in my future. There's just too many douche bags on social media.
