Please expand on what you are paying. I'm noticing a disturbing trend down here in Florida.

I saw regular at 2.15, and in the old days, it used to be 0.10, 0.10 up to premium. 10 cents per grade.

As I've traveled the country, that grade price differential seems to be intact.

Down here, it is now a $0.45 differential between regular and premium.

For consideration, when regular was $4/gallon, that difference was 11%

Now that gas is $2.15, it's 20%

What the fuck gives??? This feels like classic price fixing, because I don't believe the distributors are charging this grade differential.

I have seen the same trend here. .10 for mid grade and .20 for premium was the trend here for years. Now its .45 to .65 for the good stuff.

The reason? Less luxury cars use it. All the imports don't use it. Less demand, more cost.

$2.35 here at a Union 76 station - Hemet, CA (about 40 miles west of Palm Springs in Southern CA).

Face it guys, these prices will not last long. Seems like every Labor Day in May, they always go up.
