Any Tamiya fans here???
Went to their store today. Always thought their stuff had some of the best details.

That is badass! Alexa did the conversion for me and told me I could get the Z car for about 88 bucks, but I want one of the big rigs.

Just started to get into car modeling. Lot's of talented folks out there on the techniques and realism of model building. I loaded up on a lot of Tamiya products, seems to be the name for quality supplies, etc.

Same here... prepping to build my first kit in 30+ years. Even ordered a new airbrush. Tamiya has great kits... I built a couple years ago. For muscle car stuff, Revell is better than the others, IMO. |

Very
Been building models for decades, although it has tailed off a bit in recent years with the kids. |

The race car and hauler I ultimately want to build will require lots of modifications of a 1969 charger and Ford C600 hauler. Bought multiple kits and accessories to make those two models out of 6 or so, lol. Even a custom hauler bed. Working on a test car now, trying out and testing damage and weathering techniques. Buying this air brush next; Iwata Eclipse Hp-Cs |

I've built a couple of Tamiya kits (Lambo and Porsche)
Very good quality and lots of detail. |

Sounds like an awesome project. I have models of most of the cool cars we've owned... still in the box. I spent way too much time reading about air brushes. I have an old Badger single action that I bought in the 80s to paint slot car bodies. I cheaped out and bought a <$40 Chicom double action and that will take some practice. Building a crude spray boot as I killed far to many brain cells spraying lacquer without a mask. Will be nice to see some pics as projects get completed. |

The past couple years I have been considering a large 1/200 or 1/350 battleship model.
I'm just not sure I have the patience to complete one. They are extremely intricate. |

Still in the box untouched. LOL I was going to use it to spray my RC bodies but I felt a little intimidated and ended up using spray cans. |
