Tires and Wheels
Well, my Dunlops are starting to look a bit worn...(ok more than a bit, fronts are on the wear bars) but I'm having a hard time finding more than 1 choice of 255 60 15.
I've been thinking about replacing the tired looking stock Alu rims with something different and it might be a good time to think about going with a completely different Rim and tire size to something a bit more modern. Might also help with stability. I don't want to screw up the speedo so I guess the over all diameter would need to be the same? Any thoughts on a good solution? |

Torque Thrusts in 17" or something of that nature.Fifteen and sixteen's are becoming more passe'.
I will fully admit nothing looks better than a big fat 15" sidewall tire on classic Detroit iron or fiberglass but as time marches on we are being tossed to the side of the road with our needs. Just be glad our bolt pattern has still been in use all these years. |
